Brilliant Product. Purchased this for my trip in Saudi Arabia. The backpack has plenty of storage and pockets to put your items in. Also the adjustable straps are ideal. The main thing which impressed me was how waterproof this bag is. I got stuck in the middle of a rain storm, where I was worried about my passport, papers etc. getting wet in the backpack. When returning to the hotel, I was shocked to discover that the bag was completely dry inside, considering how wet it was on the outside! And I forgot to mention the bag is VERY strong, I had approx 20kg at one point, and the backpack did not fault once.

I was looking for a bag for college and this one has turned out to be perfect. Plenty of room for my folders, books and laptop. Comfortable straps. Highly recommend this high quality bag.

I have worn the 25L 24/7 on many occasions and it has always proved comfortable. It is hydration bladder compatible and has some good storage inside. My only gripe would be the poor fixing points for poles, these needed modifying to make them useful. Overall a good well build, comfortable day sack.

A good day sack but with one drawback! The loop on top that I usually use for lifting the bag is far too small and weak. After only a few outings and the usual gear inside, the loop just pulled away from the stitching when lifting the bag. Perhaps Berghaus's use for the loop is as a hangar for an empty bag? At any rate I expect more from Berghaus and for the sake of a little more material, the loop could be beefed up significantly and used as a proper handle.

I brought this bag as a replacement for my old Berghaus Backpack 30lt which the zip broke on it.

I was carrying too much in it, the zip opened, streatched and eventually destroyed it. My fault I suppose.

These bags are very comfortable on your back. I have walked up Snowdon with no problems. I use it every day in work and take it most places on days out.

You could even use it for mountain biking, but it would get sweaty on your back.

They dont stand upright, they always slide flat on the floor which does annoy me.

Overall a very good bag, just be careful with the zip.
They have 2 zipps which I tend to pull open and not use properly. Thats what caused the first one to brake on me.

It wasn't the bad, It was me being rough with it.

Get one !!!!!!!!!!

I am sure there are daysacks/backpacks as good as this, but I couldn't find any as cheap.
It's easy to wear, and perfect for holidays - cabin-baggage sized, and handy once you're there to bring masks and towels to the beach or load up the junk you buy in a city expedition. The title of this review says everything that matters about this excellent product.

Big enough for everything you might need, enough places to sort little things and big things alike and still be able to find them. The bag is very high quality and has certainly survived quite a beating in it's first few months in my possession. I was amazed at how waterproof it was when caught in quite the downpour when in the middle of a large plateaux.

I have a Berghaus Dart 25 rucksack I bought in 1987 and have used heavily ever since. It is a beautifully simple product of exceptionally high quality. After nearly 25 years it is still in perfect condition (excepting a few marks and scrapes).

Berghaus made their name by making outstandingly high quality kit. So it's a shame they have gone so down-market in recent years. The TwentyFourSeven will be lucky to see one tenth of the lifetime of my first Berghaus rucksack.

That said, the design is decent - a flat section next to the back panel for A4 folders / laptop is handy and the whole thing is fairly light. The other little interior pockets are too fussy and flimsy to be of much use to me and simply add un-necessary weight. The exterior mesh pockets are so flimsy they're useless. The zips on the outer pockets are lightweight and not very strong. The stitching on mine has already started to give way at one point.

A reasonably good design, cheaply made for the mass market.
