Having previously owned a pair of these I knew I had to order the standard length and not the long - I am usually 38/33 (long) - and the standard 38/32 Berghaus is quite long enough. These are well made trousers with quality seems, a double button at the waist, a fly that stays put. Pockets are cloth (not netting). These are relaxed fitting trousers and extremely comfortable. The side pockets can leak coins from the top when sitting in a car seat, however the left leg has a zipped pocket which is secure. The back pocket is zipped.

The trousers wash well (non bio recommended by Berghaus) and colour has stayed remarkably good.

Excellent pair of lightweight trousers for outdoor activities and active work. I take regular long walks and find these are right for a wide range of conditions. On a warm day they're perfect, on a cold day you might want to be a bit more active to keep as warm, and in very cold and/or windy weather I'd wear jeans! It would have been nice for them to offer the zip-off option as with the Lonscale trouser Berghaus also makes, since the cargo pockets are above the knees which would allow a respectable pair of cargo shorts.

The "cargo" capacity isn't as good as I've had previously, but for traveling fairly light and unencumbered by bags etc, they would be fine. The lightweight fabric does mean that the cargo pockets can end up a bit saggy if you overload them! (Good grief, I'm beginning to make them sound like an aircraft!)

So, not quite four-season clothing, but widely adaptable all the same. Time will tell whether the seams hold up to the amount of walking I do, most of my previous trousers have eventually chafed away leg-against-leg eventually leaving things a bit breezy around the trossachs (!).

I was looking for some light weight casual trousers which would be good for outdoors but also smart enough to wear to work. I found that normal cargo trousers are quite heavy weight and bulky and too casual looking for work. These Berghaus Navigator pants are ideal for what I wanted. They are very comfortable and fit extremely well. Side pocket is just the right size for my mobile phone. Delivery was very quick as well.

Berghaus pants to be exact. Quality garment as should be expected from a quality maker. Price was not bad either.

Great trousers - one star docked because I lost a button at the waist: the plastic had snapped, which was probably destined to happen and shamefully did after two weeks.. a stronger material [such as you might find on all buttoned garments that hold fast for years and even decades] would not have capitulated...
Luckily it has dual-button fastening - quickly proven to be more useful than tedious, if only by default - and a spare on the label that has survived the two week mark at least.
I gingerly assume this was a faulty button but could be proved wrong. However I paid £38.99 and they are listed at £32 at the time of writing.. Six pounds will buy a sturdy set of buttons for those who can sew, so I might even buy another pair.

this is my second pair of Navigator Cargo Pants, and although both are a 34" waist, the grey pair are a bit 'neater'. Appart from that, they are a perfect length, very comfortable, wash well(non-bio powder to keep the shower proof) and just what you would expect from Berghaus.
