Bought this for my wife and she is delighted with it. This is the latest 2011 version of the rucksack at a bargain price. It is very light and has the new Freeflow V back system. Unlike the 2010 version it now has an intergral raincover in a zipped pocket at the base of the rucksack. My wife also prefers the new design of adjustable chest strap and the waist strap, which is much less bulky than the 2010 version, with the extra advantage that it can be removed. Overall this was an excellent purchase with a fast delivery.

Even for a 20-litre pack, this one seems a little small compared to another one I have which is technically the same capacity. It's taller and narrower than my other one, which means you really do have to pack it right to the top to get everything in. With a panel-loading pack, that tends to mean the things at the top fall out when you open it.
I tried getting the following items inside: waterproof trousers and rollup jacket; very lightweight fleece jacket; lunch; small binoculars; small book; wallet... They just about fit, but it was a squeeze. With the pack so full, the pocket on the front was pretty much useless, too. I could get a large water bottle into the side pocket with the pack full, but again it was a squeeze. I think it would be fine for day hikes in hot weather where you didn't need to take waterproofs with you, but other than that, maybe size up?
I didn't try the pack on a hike, so I can't really say what it's like to carry. Looks very well made, though.

I used this pack on holiday in Switzerland. It was extremely confortable to wear and carried all that I needed. It is light and because of the freeflow construction I suffered no sweaty back problems! I would recommend this item as very suitable as a day pack.

Does the job
This is a compact bag, ideal for day hiking use, or an extended trip round town. All seems well made and adjusts for individual fit and comfort.

The bag is not as comfortable as i thought it would be, and it dose hold as much as my old bag
