2.0 out of 5 stars Unfit for purpose 6 May 2014
Bought two pairs of these, both leaked almost immediately. Inferior quality from Berghaus who use their own cheaper version of Gore-Tex in these boots called AQ which, as other poor reviews around the web are testament to, doesn't work anywhere near as well.

4.0 out of 5 stars Comfortable but a little weighty 3 Mar 2014
I elected to buy these boots after trying on various ones from other manufacturers, such as Karrimor and Hi-tec. The quality of the Berghaus footwear was noticeably better; however, it must be borne in mind they were more expensive. The company says its UK 11 equals an European 46, but I decided to go up a size to accommodate two pairs of socks.
Although for the last two months the weather has been very wet, there has been no ingress of water at all. They have given me not even a hint of a blister. I do find them heavier than some previous boots I have owned; and if I drive in them, my feet do tend to ache after a while. All in all a satisfactory purchase.
