Bergerac, what can you say.
Brilliant, Such a blast from the past, and a big part of my childhood!
Im not going to write about the show as most people will already know what Bergerac is all about.
I love this show, sadly, for me, it comes to an end after series 8, episode 1, A True Detective. Im not going to say too much, as I dont want to spoil anything for anyone but if you decide to go with this one, you wont regret it.
Picture and sound quality I find is great, though I do have a upscaleing DVD player so I cant compare it to a normal DVD player, but I find the picture and sound perfect considering its from the early 80`s
I cant comment on any extras because I am really not sure if it has any, I have never bothered to look to be honest.
The only subtitles is English and the whole nine series are on 27 discs which I must say, I prefer the Complete boxset DVD case layout as they are all the same size and fit in the box nicely, unlike the mix and match packing of the single series that where released.
All thats left to say is buy this, you wont be dissapointed, pop a disc in and all the memories will flood back.
Series 1 runtime was 485mins, the complete boxset series 1 runtime 535mins.
Series 2 runtime was 497mins, the complete boxset series 2 runtime 497mins.
Series 3 runtime was 518mins, the complete boxset series 3 runtime 518mins.
Series 4 runtime was 553mins, the complete boxset series 4 runtime 553mins.
Series 5 runtime was 508mins, the complete boxset series 5 runtime 508mins.
Series 6 runtime was 431mins, the complete boxset series 6 runtime 463mins.
Series 7 runtime was 520mins, the complete boxset series 7 runtime 520mins.
Series 8 runtime was 618mins, the complete boxset series 8 runtime 618mins.
Series 9 runtime was 624mins, the complete boxset series 9 runtime 624mins.
So series 1 and 6 seem to have had the parts replaced that where missed out on the single series releases, as pointed out by some of the other great reviewers on this title.
