Synopsis
JIm Bergerac (Nettles) is a recovering alcoholic, divorcee and father of a young daughter, a Detective Sergeant with the Bureau des Etrangers, Jersey. Jim likes doing things his own way, a true maverick, and consequently doesn't always carry out his investigations in the traditional manner the way his boss would like. This DVD contains all nine episodes from the second series: "A Message for the Rich", "Always Leave Them Laughing", "Clap Hands, Here Comes Charlie", "Prime Target", "Almost Like a Holiday", "Fall of a Birdman", "Miracle Every Week", "A Perfect Recapture" and "The Moonlight Girls".

Season 2 Bergerac DVD set is certainly to be recommended to fans of the series. It is a distinct improvement on the release of the first series as each episode is full length as opposed to the shorter edited episodes of the first series. Let us hope that the release of the remaining series will be the same. Also, lets hope that the Christmas specials are included with the appropriate series, as not including them would be really sad.

Excellent series without the awful edits of the first series but sadly no extra's lets hope future releases have some of the commentaries of the first series which were very good and as the other reviewer mentions the full length feature episodes to.
