a fresh if quirky voice. Really excellent musicianship from all participants and the songs make you sit up and listen closely

It's about time we had a young, truly exciting talent come along, it's been a slow coming as the title of track 4 springs to mind. A voice you will find difficult to make comparisons to and guitar playing that really rocks. Stonking (and stomping) tunes here, the drumming is first rate too. Booker goes from rock riffs to soulful sounds beautifully and in my opinion nobody does it better right now. The future is bright for good music when albums like this are made.

First heard from this album when searching YouTube on the telly and loved the attitude of which he delivers the soulful lyrics on some of the songs. Others are very upbeat with similar attitude. Not dissapointed freakin love this....
