I chose this product over other (cheaper) models because of the very clear temperature markings which are divided down into 10 degrees C increments. Other products had numbers marked only every 100 degrees - I know my oven is between 100 and 300 - I want to know where! Also this model is in centigrade whereas many other are either only in farenheit, or predominantly in farenheit with small centigrade markings. I bought the product because I moved into a rented house where the oven did not seem to be coming up to temperature and cupcakes were still semi-raw after an hour on Gas mark 6! This thermometer showed me that actually I needed to turn the oven up to Gas mark 9 to acheive the temp that gas mark 5 should have been. Very useful and now things are cooking fine using the thermometer as a guide instead of the oven dial. Reccommend this product over other, inferior, cheaper models. I have no regrets.

Ovens are often way off what the dial says. This hangs neatly and is clearly readable if you have a glass panelled door.
I prove my bread in the oven at 30 degrees centigrade and wanted a thermometer that registered a temperature this low but could also stand the high heat. I can now fine tune my oven to 30 degrees and prove my bread quickly so it's ready by lunch wihtout killing or overstressing the yeast.

Have been using this for 6 months and it has revolutionised my oven cooking by ensuring accuracy of temperature. Chose this item from the range of thermometers available because of it's clear temperature scale - 5 degree intervals -and this has proven to be very helpful. The design is ideal. It works, no problems at all.

Very good
It is not totally accurate (+/-10C, per what I've see, normally to less), but good enough for some home cooking.

Works well
Very happy with this. I've been surprised by how inaccurate the thermostat on my oven can be. Have used this thermometer many times now very successfully.

Stainless Steel Oven Thermometer
In a nutshell, the product is useless. Can't figure out how to use it, inside or outside the oven door. Does not come with any literature. It ended up in my drawer.
