This is my second book by this author, a contemp one, connected to the historical Siren Menage Lost Collection book LOVE UNDER TWO GUNSLINGERS.

This story is set several generations down the line in a town founded by the ancestors of brothers Steven and Matthew Benedict, a town like Desire, OK in Leah Brooke's Desire series, called Lusty, Tx. In this town, people are allowed to live their lives the way they want to i.e. with non-vanilla relationships.

The brothers have been in lust, and have since fallen in love with, Kelsey, an out-of-towner who moved to Lusty some 6 months ago, five years after her husband and baby son were killed in a convenience store robbery. She's needed time on her own, and has bottled things up, but the guys make their move in convincing her that it's time for her to move on.

This book had it all: strong Alpha males, but who weren't arrogant know-it-alls, a feisty female who still knows when to rely on others, some really decent characters, a really decent, if sad, storyline, danger, some really, really hot and varied sex and a HEA. I'm not going to say more, other than it's a 5* tale, and I can't wait for Susan's (sister of the guys) tale, which has just come out in ebook format, to make it into print.

This author is now seriously competing with Tymber Dalton and Leah Brooke as my fave Siren authors.

Unlike the first two books in this series, "Love Under Two Benedicts " take place in modern times. Though you don't have to read the first two books, it really does help the reader to understand the History of "Lusty Texas" and it's founding Fathers. If you read the "Desire Series, by Leah Brooke" then I think that you will enjoy "Cara Covingtons" new series that starts with the Lost Collection and ends up here with "Lusty Texas". This story (as the other first two) had lots of Love, suspese,mystery and some pretty emotional stuff that made the whole story a great read for me. I am really looking forward to the continuation of this series.

This was a great read. I was hot from beginning to the end of this book. I couldn't put it down. It was one of my first erotic novels and I am now hooked! The story kept me interested and the sex scenes were sexy and very descriptive. Worth every penny!!!!

This is a well written and engrossing story. The characters are real and likable and the town of Lusty is the perfect place for them all to live. The concept of a town founded by polyamorous couples is pretty unique. The author does a good job telling Kelsey's story and showing her gradual acceptance of the Benedict brothers' love. The love scenes are well plotted and extremely sensual and there is a strong element of suspense in the plot to keep things even more exciting. The subplot of the desperate mother abandoning her son really highlighted Kelsey's loss and helped her healing process. The plot kept me hooked with enough twists and turns to keep things interesting without getting confusing. I really liked this story and its characters.- Maura Frankman
