Simply put - you have to get one of these whether you need one or not. Unpacking was a breeze, assembly was child's play, the finish is excellent and looks great on the desk. Picture quality is super-sharp and the colours are vibrant.
I wanted a new PC and didn't have the biggest of budgets, so I opted to invest more in to the CPU, RAM and Graphics Card. However, as a Graphic Designer, the monitor is still a very important factor to consider. I'd read mixed reviews for this particular model, so this was a bit of a risk; but one that I'm very pleased I took!
The colours are excellent, the picture doesn't "shift" too much when viewing from different angles and distances. It's also easier on the eyes than a lot of monitors, meaning I can spend longer at the desk without taking too many breaks. All-in-all, this is a superb product for the price tag and I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for a 27" monitor. It comes bundled with a VGA Cable (no adaptor), manual and Driver CD and is well packaged and presented.
Cons:
No HDMI input.
No Speakers.
My copy of the Driver CD didn't work.
Can't adjust colour saturation (although I haven't explored this fully, it may be something to do with my GPU/Drivers).
Menu navigation is a touch fiddly without a Remote.
Pros:
Lightweight and adjustable.
Calibration is easy and accurate.
Neat "Auto Adjust" button for screen sizing.
Supports 1920 x 1080 resolution.
Super-sleek finish.
Slim profile.
If you're not adding this to the basket right now, you're missing out on a genuine bargain!
