My first buy 25 April 2012

This is my first review. Bought this from Amazon n shipped through Shopandship Dubai. Got the projector on 23rd April. Out of Box performance is excellent. I could here the WOW from my wife and kids... They didnt expect such quality from a projector. Worth it... My neighbours also commented.... wanted very badly to watch all the collections I have especially the Blue Ray rip ones. I have connected this to my laptop and without playing with any settings- only selected movie color settings..., the picture quality is amazing and of course the 10000:1 contrast ratio as mentioned plays its role in displaying the blacks black and whites white. Evenwith my 3 CFL lamps on in the room it is easily watchable. The image size I have is 110" wide. Making of DIY screen with blackout cloth is on process.. My screen size will be 120": 55" and shall make a DIY anamorphic lens to strech the image horizontally and vertical streching via BS Player to have a cinemascopic view.. Hope all will work fine..
The only problem I find is... not problem, but limitation is the optical zoom range which is very less, but no issues if you can have an image which is huge without zoom. But to adjust image sizes for different aspect ratio movies, big zoom will be helpful without screen masking systems...
Thanks for reading this.. Will update...
