Format:DVD
The film leaves you with a feeling, of wanting to discuss the details with others who have seen the it, like when you've read a very good book. I can't recommend the film for under 15's, but for teachers, tutors, parents and others working with secondary school, and upwards age group. It tackles the problem of bullying amongst peers, and what it can lead to. A very good and emotional film. Highly recommended.

I was blown away by this film. It's an absolute gem!
I won't repeat the synopsis as Amazon does a good job of telling you what it's about but I will say that it manages to portray the effects Asperger's Syndrome very well through excellent camera work and very convincing acting.
I too gravitated towards this film because of it's reality/video game parallel and I have to say I saw a much better film than I thought I was going to! The story will keep you hooked the whole way through and there are some really nice little twists and turns that you don't see coming (Mainly due to the film's success in blending reality and imagination)!
I would highly recommend this film. Once again, it goes to show that if you don't watch films with subtitles you are missing out on some of the best cinema the world has to offer.

I saw the trailer for this film and immediately wanted to see it.
The main character is an autistic lad who plays, or rather hides inside, a game called 'Archlord'. He is persistantly bullied at school and inevitably has some behavioural problems. The world of the computer game and real life gets a little merged in his head and as the bullying gets more difficult to deal with so he plans a sinister "Endgame" to stop his bullying.
What he did not expect was his female chum from the 'Archlord' game wanting to meet up and see him. Will she prevent him from doing something stupid or not??
I'd love to describe more of the film but my describing the events will not do the film justice.
Nic Balthazar's debut film is shot in a very empathetic way that you really want the bullies to stop and in places it is not the most comfortable of viewings. Greg Timmermans plays Ben in a really convincing and moving way that makes the whole scenario believable.
In short, if you love / don't mind foreign language films with subtitles and you want to see some darn good filmaking you will need to see this film. It is definately one of the best films I have seen in the last 12 months
Don't forget - on the DVD is the full ARCHLORD game to play online, so you can become the next BEN X

Valuable insights
