Ben & Holly's Little Kingdom is a very entertaining show, and the 11 episodes on the disc are great, but is it really necessary for there to be adverts at the start of the disc?
I'm used to the various warnings and logos for all the production companies involved, but advertising toys (albeit Ben & Holly toys) before the main menu is disappointing.
Here are the episodes on the disc: 1) Holly's Magic Wand, 2) Gaston the Ladybird, 3) The Royal Fairy Picnic, 4) The Elf Farm, 5) Daisy and Poppy, 6) The Lost Egg, 7) Queen Thistle's Teapot, 8) The Frog Prince, 9) King Thistle is Not Well, 10) Fun and Games, 11) The King's Busy Day (Bonus Episode)

My daughter, who is 3 1/2 had watched Peppa Pig since the age of 2, but now feels she is too old for it. Since watching Ben and Holly's Little Kingdom, she feels the programme is more suitable for her age. The programme is about a small kingdom in a garden where elves and fairies live. The main characters are Ben Elf and Princess Holly, who is a fairy. Nanny Plum, the fairy minder of Holly, often accompanies Holly when she meets Ben to play with. Nanny Plum is a favourite, being helpful, but sometimes doesn't think before she speaks, which can get her into trouble. Look out for Gaston, a ladybird who lives in a messy cave, but who barks like a dog. My daughter finds that hilarious.
Overall, I give this 5/5. It's a great programme and one I don't mind watching with my daughter, unlike some other programmes.

Sick of Peppa Pig? Indeed. By the same makers and generally voiced by the same voice artists as PP, this is cute and a refreshing change. My little one loves it. Highly recommended

Children love it!
I bought this for my Grandchildren...The video is very entertaining and the children watch it over and over again...I especially enjoy hearing the English accents...

Not managed to watch it from start to finish so unsure as to quality throughout however product arrived on time no problems and daughter happy as she loves princess Holly

Ben and Holly Magical
An excellent DVD for all young (and old) Ben and Holly fans. 4yr old twins loved it and spent hours rewatching it.

Great value for money
Anyone with a young child will appreciate the value of this DVD - keeps the little one amused for hours without having to wait for the programme on Nick jnr.
