My 4 year old loves this light, once charged it will last a couple of weeks if you use it at bedtime for a couple of hours.
My only complaint is I wish you could keep the slides on the key ring instead of having to take them off, as we have already lost two!

I purchased this item as a night light for my 5 year old son. He loves the fact that he can use it as a night light, or as a torch to read with, or as a projector on his ceiling. He likes being able to draw his own characters on the additional projector slide. It is more compact then I expected, and is easy for him to hold.
The integral battery can be recharged using the mains adaptor, but there is no indication of how much battery life remains. Ultimately the battery will wear out and no longer hold charge, at which point the battery cannot be replaced - hopefully he will have grown out of "Ben 10" before that happens.
