I bought my son this watch because he loves Ben 10. He is 6, and hasn't really developed a need to tell the time yet, as he tends to be governed by his stomach rather than his timetable.
He loves this watch - it comes with three interchangeable figures that clip on top of the 'lid', which you open to see the time.
The LCD display is your standard 88:88 variety, which shows the date when the button on the side is depressed. Setting the time is easy; you need a thin pointy thing to push a tiny inset button, which took a while to locate on the watch (it's near the function button mentioned previously).
Build-wise, the quality is poor - the plastic moulding on the lid looks like it's going to snap off with prolonged use. The strap is nice and bright rubberised plastic, with holes right the way up to allow forsmaller wrists.
You'll be happy with this product if you buy it as a toy that happens to tell the time, rather than as a watch; if your child likes Ben 10 s/he'll love it.
