You are so sad it is over! I found all 3 books gripping and leaving me wishing i knew more about anne de bohun! Her character was delighful, although i did feel a little robbed at the ending.. And wonder if prehaps another book set at a later time might join the triology?

The 3 book of the series ties edward and annes loose ends together.. although anne lives, i could not help but feel great sadness at the fact they showed each other so much love yet ultimatley live without each other - the book shows the birth of edward V (elizabeths son) but does not reach Richard.. can edward live happily without anne?

I would recommed the series to anybody who enjoys historial ficition and philipa gregory. You will not regret it!

Once I finished 'The Innocent' I nearly fell over myself ordering the next two parts in the triology. I finished reading 'The Exiled' in two days and could not wait to get stuck into 'The Beloved'.

There is little I can write without giving the story away, and if you have read the first two and enjoyed them as much as I did, it wouldn't be fair for you to know what happens.

The final part seems to be the most packed in terms of twists and developments. I think the ending will split peoples' opinions down the middle; there will be those who read the trilogy wanting the happily ever after and those who can know that history cannot be re-written to give Anne and Edward's love a cosy domestic conclusion. That is not to say Graeme-Evans has not written a great final instalment and - in my opinion - a wonderful ending.

The point is the two characters and the story are still with me, days after reading the last part. Graeme-Evans is such a talented writer; even though Anne is a fictional construct, I still think about Anne and Edward (and their child) as if they are real.

Love & a King 22 Sep 2006
Format:Paperback
Having read The Innocent & The Exiled I was very pleased with The Beloved Posie certainly kept me reading this one I was very tempted to cheat & read the end when I was half into the book I just couldn't put it down.

I so wanted to know if it ended happy with the king but you will have to read it to find your answer as I did.

But the story was good & she had the characters in the book so real I had hate & love feeling for some of them.

It is a great trilogy & a love story you won't forget.
