Dolphina has an excellent approach to bellydance and I thoroughly enjoy her videos and this book. I just got it and am thrilled with it. I like the easy to follow format, as well as the photographs in the books and I appreciate the arrows that show you which direction you need to move. She uses models that are of different shapes, and sizes and so that encourages you and shows you that you don't have to be perfect. Her approach also reminds you that you are a Goddess and that you need to bring it out. I like the detailed pages that break down the sequences and the written descriptions of what to do. Another good thing is the quick reference pages that she puts at the end of sections and the at a glance pictures at the bottom of the dance routine pages. I think that this book is an excellent complimentary tool to the videos that she has, or as your first introduction to bellydancing. She breaks the dancing down into three levels, and with each move, she has a small table to tell you the number of repetitions to do for the beginner or intermediate. You can't go wrong with this book, it is good if you have had experience with bellydance, or none at all. The photos are really inspirational and I am looking forward to using the program in this book regularly.
