generally i agree with most of the other reviews - good and bad.
there is a good selection of music, not a lot of spirit or soul to it, but recorded music lacks that to me most of the time anyway... but if what you want is bulk of different music for practice or drilling then you could do worse. I must say i got "beginners guide to belly dance" at the same time for 2/3 of the price (really cheap £4.33) and it's another triple cd one but that one comes with description of the tracks or artist, (it has actual named artists on it like the glorious Hossam Ramzy etc unlike this one which appears to be generic session music). As well as that it says for many of them what might be suitable dance styles to go with the track which is dead handy when preparing classes (I'm no beginner, I'm a teacher looking for music suitable for beginners classes that i teach). Though beginners does have a whole album of fusion which isn't everyones cup of mint tea. So yes this is an okay album, if you get both you'll have more music for around a tenner than you are likely to need and one of them will inform you too and make it easy to find tracks.
