Very handy device and so easy to install.Works perfectly.I have an old pc with Windows 98SE which I use for playing my older Games.Know more swapping round cables etc,I just choose the PC I want to use,and this wee gadget does the rest.A well made sturdy bit of kit worth every penny and would certainly recomend it to any potenial buyer.

Bought this for my sister who needed to run an older and a newer PC on one desk with just one monitor, keyboard and mouse. After a bit of research I settled on this Bellkin KVM as it seemed the best looking design and simple to use.
Well having installed it and used it for a few weeks my sister is very pleased with the two PC set up. It was simple to install and had clear instructions for even a newbie to understand.
The small round click switch that sits on the desk is the only item visible if you tuck the rest of it out of the way. The switch is only needed to switch between two PCs that are both on. If using one PC at a time the unit switches automatically when you turn a PC on.
My only caution would be to make sure you buy the right model as the USB and PS/2 products can appear identical.

Scenario: one laptop running Windows 7 on which all my work takes place and one old Dell PC running Windows XP (VGA monitor and PS2 keyboard/mouse).
Been meaning to buy a KVM switch to enable me to use a bigger monitor, full sized keyboard and external mouse with my laptop. So went and purchased a 24" Asus monitor (very nice) and then pondered over what to buy to connect up the keyboard and mouse.
I had come across this solution before of the Belkin Switch2 but was put off by some reviews which said it didn't work and by Belkin not stating that it works on Windows 7 Machines. Anyway I bit the bullet and bought this.
Result: I have both machines connected via the switch2. It all works perfectly well. The kids can now benefit from surfing on the old XP PC whilst having the benefit of my new large LCD monitor.
I benefit from only having one monitor/keyboard and mouse to run both machines and giving my fingers a good rest from not using laptop keyboard and mouse.
I had also purchased a VGA to DVI adapter (for £1.12 on Amazon) but did not need it as my monitor has a VGA port.
