The Belkin iPod power pack is hardly the most exciting item, but if you don't have your computer constantly on, or are away travelling, it does the job of charging your iPod. It comes with a charge pack (with US plug) an adaptor for UK plug sockets, and a charge only cable. It charges both my Touch and Shuffle (with the shuffle's own cradle - the charge unit itself has a USB socket for cables) in a short time. My only comment is that it would have been nice if the USB-iPod cable had also been a data cable, but there may be some Apple or power issue with doing this.

wow if i could give it more stars i would, this is worth every penny it might seem expensive to some of you but believe me ive had the cheaper ones some work for a little while some dont work at all and then you have the hassle of sending them back getting your money back cos the companys dont want to do refunds etc. well with this one its worth every penny, if your like me have an ipod or ipad and dont want to charge it through your comp then this is ideal for you, it even charges the newer versions iphone 4 etc some plugs wont do this, .
it also comes with adaptable plugs for other countries so you dont need to buy seperate ones brilliant !! i read a couple of reviews when considering this some were not so good it didnt come as advertised it had no lead wel no if you go for the cheaper one it doesnt its only the plug so dont be stingy get the lead too for the extra its worth it, some said it burned out well yes if you leave it plugged in all the time it will like any plug it will heat up and eventually blow a fuse its called safety factor in your own home dont leave anything plugged in when not in use my final prognosis is ive had this for quite a few months now and in the long term its paid for itself mainly cos i havent had to keep ordering cheap ones so treat yourself and treat your ipod pad phone etc its well worth it..
