Bought this product to replace a Linksys "g" Router that was performing poorly. Very easy set-up, unlike the Linksys, Outstanding performance and at a great price. Recommended.

Have used these elsewhere, they are small, neat and fast enough when there are no signal problems from thick walls etc. Excellent price, easy setup via the CD Wizard (used it on a Virgin cable router). Tested using a laptop and Blackberry with iPlayer.

However I had expected that the power supply would come with a UK power plug but instead it had a Euro type so I needed to rush out and buy a travel adapter, which was inconvenient during install and additional cost. Please get the specification right...

5.0 out of 5 stars Did the job once I held up my end of the bargain! 30 July 2012
Verified Purchase
I was initially very unhappy with the product because it simply didn't work at all. I was unable to connect to the router and so could not set it up. A little further investigation revealed that this was due to my installation of VMWare messing up my settings. Removing that software did the trick, and the router worked a treat from then on. Highly recommended; outstanding value for money - just make sure you don't need a router with a modem included, because this one can only extend an existing network that already has a modem.

My 2006 Belkin Wireless G router died after 4 faithful years as an access point. Because it has a lifetime warranty Belkin replaced it with this "equivalent" model. Now my 2008 laptop with "Draft" N wireless card connect at 72Mbps compared to 54Mbps. "Draft" means the chip doesn't have the final N firmware during the time when chip makers were duking it out to be the standard N. My 2008 laptop can't benefit from the current 300Mps N routers. I get youtube HD just fine with this.Speedtest.net says my wired connection has the same speed as my wireless connection."5.8Mps" on O2 "8MB broadband". This bottle neck is down to the O2 router.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not a bad router 28 Jun 2012
By Sam D
This is a pretty decent router, it does all that you would expect. For me, it acted as secondary router to extend the network and did this very well. Though it did recently die on me around a year after purchase, which was a shame.
