So, why did I buy this mouse? I have two health issues: eczema and a rheumatic disorder, both of which affect my hands. Mice of the usual design don't tend to last long in the presence of eczema, although I have marvelled in the past at exactly how much Betnovate some of them will stand before expiring. This particular mouse can be wiped clean very easily and it's lasted miles longer than the many others I've destroyed. However, the real problem I had was with arthritis and the scroll wheel. The usual design of scroll wheel requires an "up-and-over" movement with a finger that I found quite painful. This mouse has a flat touch-sensitive strip in place of the scroll wheel. Whilst this does take a little getting used to, I find that the flat strip is a great help because you don't have to move your fingers in quite the same manner as with a wheel and it's much more comfortable to use. It's also quite a small mouse and as I have quite small hands this is ideal.
One downside: the cable is much too short for use with a desktop. That's why I only give it four stars. However, extension cables are available for not very much and therefore the solution was cheap and straightforward.
