I bought a new PC and to my dismay, the keyboard and mouse port is USB, I have KVM switch with ergonomic keyboard & mouse (to use between my work computer and my home computer) and they are PS/2. I did NOT want to buy a new KVM switch nor keyboard & mouse so I found this adapter and bought it, it works just fine!

Problem with shift/CTRL keys, 7 April 2004

I bought this from Office Depot and when I got home, I had a problem. When I hold down the shift key and type a couple letters, they all appear shifted, but if I pause for about 3 seconds, suddenly the shift key is "unshifted" even though I'm still holding it down. This is very annoying, and also happens with the CTRL key.
