This iPod holder fits perfectly in my 2004 Honda Jazz SE cup holders. Various sizes of cup are supplied, so hopefully one is bound to fit (touch wood!). It secures the iPod by means of a suction cup that clings to the back of the iPod. If you have an iPod case, such as the Napa leather case, then this needs to be removed before using the Tunedok so that the suction cup can properly & securely grip the iPod.
The docking port of the iPod is accessible through the L-shaped lower part of the Tunedok, which allows for the connection of the iPod charging cable (to the car's cigarette lighter). Unfortunately, the Griffin iTrip does not fit through this same slot due to the short connector on the iTrip rather than a fault with the design of the Tunedok. However, if you first insert the iTrip then pop the iPod/iTrip combination into the holder then the suction cup still does its job & all is well. I can 100% recommend this iPod holder & it's certainly better than having your iPod sliding about on the dashboard or on the passenger seat!
Belkin also make the OmniDock car mobile phone holder, which looks & fits much like the Tunedok, but has quick release clamps instead of a suction cup to hold the phone. The two Belkin holders do look rather good side-by-side :-) Do be aware that little `clam shell' phones, such as the Samsung A800, may not be very securely held due to their small size.
The Tunedok & Omnidock can be converted into stand-alone iPod & mobile phone holders, respectively, which can be used on your desk, etc: just unscrew the cup, turn it upside down, insert the screw neck & there you have it.
