This microphone for an ipod looked great, and the design is good too. Now I only have an Ipod Touch 3g. So when i plugged in this microphone I found it it wouldn't fit properly. I could onlu insert the jack. After fitting, the microphone did not work at all. It did not pick up any sound. If you have an Ipod Classic then it may work, but fir the Ipod Touch 3g, not working at all.

This little microphone neatly turns your iPOD into a recording machine, it's as simple as pluging it into your ipod and it gives hours of recording time. A REALLY simple thing to use.
I have only tried it once so far and my only problem was that it produced a hiss on the playback and as I need this for recording stuff others will listen to that is a potential problem but it may have been because I had it too close to my laptop..so will try again.
Do not hesitate to buy this if you want to turn your ipod ito a dictaphone with masses of recording time that you can then download straight onto your computer.

This doesn't work with the Ipod nano. Or at least, the one I received doesn't, despite it coming up when you search for 'Ipod nano microphone.'

Also the one I ordered came without any instructions and looked like it had been used and returned already as the packaging was tatty.

In my opinion it is worth spending a bit more and being sure of what you are getting.
