5.5m cable received today and tested with Sennheiser HD265 Linear II. All four gold-plated elements (cable m/f, headphones, amplifier headphone out socket) did the biz well, so no complaints there - sonic competence throughout.
No, my complaint, as such, is more an observation-cum-caveat (and hereby concurs with that of another reviewer): the cable delivered was NOT the "Belkin Pro Series Mini Stereo Extension Cord 3.5mm M/F 5.5m" as both advertised here and listed on the Invoice/Receipt, but "RoHS" - for all I know RoHS is a Belkin subsidiary, or whatever. Yet nowhere can I find an Amazon note suggesting something along the lines of "product may not be as advertised, but will be of same quality," etc. This is an alarming trend, Amazon: it makes a mockery of the advertised statement "Comes with a Belkin Lifetime Warranty" ... for how can it???
As mentioned above, the cable is fine and I am not sending it back. But a lesser person COULD have a good case regarding misrepresentation under the Trade Descriptions Act for false advertising ...
