It's a really handy product is this one - I have loads of RJ45 cables and sometimes you need a long one, but there is no point in buying a longer cable is that is just another cable to store.
It is much easier to buy one of these couplers that allow you to lengthen the cable to whatever length you need without any hassle.
All you do is connect the cable in to one end and the other cable into the other - and you get the satisfying click too.
Even if you don't need it immediately it is very handy to have lying around - although the light beige colour is a bit of a downside.

Great product, joins two male rj45 ends together, is a beige/light brown colour. Really cheap but does exactly what it says. 5 stars.
