15.6 inch Belkin messenger bag.
It's a good bag, especially since it is inexpensive. The level of protection is fine, and it is no bigger than necessary for an ordinary laptop of this size. (Dell E5510) The strap is shaped to carry the bag messenger-style, rather than over one shoulder businessman-style. The carry-handle is not brilliant because it is just fabric and doesn't stand out in any way that would make it easy to grab. Comfortable enough nevertheless.
However the reviews and customer photographs shown by Amazon on this product's page are for many different products, including different-size bags and neoprene sleeves and God knows what else. This is really misleading, Amazon! you might think it is helpful to give a load of 'related' information, but it just confuses the customers and people are obviously getting misled and thining they were getting one thing while buying another. Sort it out.

I wanted a light and compact bag for my Sony Vaio and this fits the bill exactly. I've also started using it as a replacement for the Targus 'backpack' that I often use because of its superior convenience when I don't need much carrying capacity (the Targus is fine for load carrying).
In particular the red interior finish makes it easy to see exactly what is inside, much better than the usual black finish. The shoulder strap is wide and comfortable and the overall pack is slim and easy to live with. There is room for the Vaio plus cable and charger plus a slim file of papers/ notebook (paper type!), tickets, passport, magazine etc.Don't expect it to carry a lot of bulky items, that's not the point of this bag.

This is an excellent bag, which is compact yet with good padding and a sleek smooth to the touch interior - which I would think both adds to the protection and feels a little more luxurious. However the pictures of the bag on this page are misleading. Amazon should really sort this out as I believe this is false advertising.
Because of the above features I will probably still keep this bag, but the main clincher that made me choose this bag over any other - was that the photos here show a separate small bag/pouch which is clearly meant for power cables (indicated by the plug icon on the bag). This powerlead bag was NOWHERE to be found in the package. I'd be interested to know if anyone else has received this? Is this just a one off omission that I should contact Amazon about? Or are the photos featuring this, misleading false advertising - ie; was this item missing with everyone else that has bought this bag?
I've also not used the bag yet, I will edit and update this review when I have.
