The bag is great! Perfect for the purpose stated, (I was given a Dell Mini Inspiron 10 for Christmas - 10" Netbook) plus plenty of room and compartments inside and outside for all the extras that come with these so called `portable' bits of technology. The netbook compartment is thickly padded with a brushed nylon inner to protect and a velcro strap to secure. It's light blue on the inside, making it easier to see things too. Plus a double zip that you can open at the top, side, wherever you want. As an alternative use, it would make a great flight bag as it's lightweight and would hold all those irritating bits of paper that we need these days for online check in, plus passport, money, insurance details, and possibly even a sandwich! I'd happily use it for a funky everyday handbag as well.
I'm more than happy with the purchase and the supplier BUT........ on a descriptive note, I have to agree with the other reviewers in that the material is NOT NEOPRENE, instead, a heavy duty nylon polyester, and the strap is different (not pale blue AND brown - brown only) . If one scrolls down on the web page where this bag is listed, to the product details, it does say material 100% polyester with no mention of neoprene but the photo does clearly show a neoprene fabric with a blue/brown strap. So, if neoprene and a bi-colour strap is important to you, be aware!
Personally, it doesn't bother me. Given the choice I would much rather have the nylon material as it looks and feels robust and I don't particularly like neoprene. IMHO neoprene material gets snagged, goes bobbly, and looks and feels nasty and a plain brown strap is probably more classy and less likely to clash with one's outfit (lol) .
I think what may have happened is that a) OfficeEtc have used the same photo and description for all sizes of this style of Belkin bag or b) Belkin have changed the specifications and OfficeEtc have not amended their details. In this respect OfficeEtc need to smarten up their act and check the accuracy of their descriptions and photographs a little more.
Delivery took 2 weeks from ordering and was delivered on a Sunday! As this was my first order from OfficeEtc I don't know if the delay was down to the terrible winter weather we've had, (ordered 4 January, delivered 17 January and it came from Jersey), but I wasn't in a hurry so it wasn't an issue and I would rather have saved a fair amount of money. If someone was in desperate need, however, the possible delivery time might be worth considering.
