I took note of another review and bought the brown, not the white version as the fabric is not really 'spongeable' - it is a slightly open, durable weave on the outside, with a smooth, padded interior. A good, space-efficient product idea, as it sits neatly behind a chair in the living room and it is easy to cart about the house if required. The large internal pocket is only about 35cm wide, although it is padded and therefore gives, which means that my 38cm wide laptop doesn't fit with the long edge down - it goes in, but it is too snug and therefore hard to get out (mistake made only once). This is not really a problem as I just stick the laptop in short edge down, but if you want your computer stashed fully inside it, you should be aware that the internal dimension is just 35cm, and therefore if you've got a big laptop, this is not the product for you.

Bought this for my daughter for Christmas. Good and solid and very spacious so you can fit the laptop in with all the stuff that accompanies it - mouse, power etc. However, because the handle is so rigid it is really hard getting the laptop in and out (we have a Dell Inspiron 1525)and it involves tipping the bag on its side, pushing the handle out of the way as much as possible then trying to grab the laptop to pull it out. Rather than protecting the laptop it's a concern every time we have to get it out and we have to do it over a soft surface so that we don't break it during removal.

Like other reviewers, I searched for ages to find something to keep my netbook safe and readily to hand. After trawling through Amazon's laptop bags I saw this - fantastic! just what I'd been wanting.
There's plenty of room to stow my netbook, power cables and backup hard drive.
In fact I liked it so much I bought another one for my Mum! She was able to store her Dell 15" laptop, cables and mouse easily.
It's well made, attractive and I love it!!
