excellent product,once connected you don't have to worry about where you are going to connect all your peripherals without disconnecting other ones.

True, it wont power my hard drive or speakers alongside anything else, but its obvioius that one this small is designed for small devices like flash drives, also it does have a dc power socket on it tho i have no way of finding out what voltage i should use.
The blue light is cool but means i have to unplug it at night so i can sleep.
Construction is solid but not upto Belkins usual standards.

I have had the hub now for over 2 weeks and I have had no problems running peripherals through it(I have my mouse and keyboard running through it permanently but I have also run a camera and memory stick through it for brief periods)it was a breeze to install (I'm on windows 7 ultimate)I just plugged it in and it was recognised instantly.
The only downside is that theres a quite bright blue l,e,d, that can be a little distracting at nightime when trying to watch a dvd or streamed program (the only time the light goes out is when you switch the p.c. off, it still shines when the p.c. is in sleep mode)though if it becomes a little to distracting I've found that just turning the hub over(so the blue l,e,d, is underneath)works quite well.
