I have always been a fan of Belkins Grip Vue product range and was interested to see if the latest version would continue this trend.
The case arrived three days after placing my order which I thought was excellent. I went for the black model and was pleased when I opened the packaging as it complimented the colour of the iPod perfectly. The case itself is made of high grade TPU and is translucent. This means that when holding your iPod touch you are able to see through the casing on the back, allowing the apple logo to show through. Together with the ability to hold your iPod firmly, with no buckling of the plastic around the edges, it really enhances the look of what is already a premium device.
All the cut outs are spot on, initially when checking the accuracy I thought that there was a problem with the cut out at the bottom of the unit as it seemed to be cut too far to the left. I then realised that this was to accommodate the small speaker grill! So no fault there. The cut out on the reverse is also spot on for both camera lens and mic. Rest assured that when you place the iPod down on a table for example the cut is ridged enough so that the actual chrome that is on view does not come into contact with the table - the chrome backing is something I really hope apple addresses in the next upgrade as it scratches like hell.

Fits lovely on my ipod touch, well made like most of Belkins stuff and should last a long time. Would buy another if needed.

The item fits my ipod touch 4th gen 32gb perfectly. It leaves the screen accessible, and the home and sleep buttons, however the volume buttons are covered with special little compartments where you can still press the buttons, but it is a tad harder to press them, but still usable. The ports at the bottom and the rear camera are left open, and as a previous reviewer has said the rear camera is left open, but when the ipod is placed on a flat surface the camera does not touch the surface because of the way the case is designed. The only real problem i have is that at the bottom of the case on the front there is a thin piece of the case that runs along the front of the ipod but because the port at the bottom is open it is a thin piece of the case and quite flexible perhaps liable to breaking. Other than that, its a very slim case that is very grippy and lightweight, perfect for what i want.

Scratchy, scratch!
This case scratches the back of the iPod/iPhone badly thus lowering any resale value. Look for something that doesn't do any damage just by being in contact.
