5.0 out of 5 stars pretty handy little thing 29 Aug 2008
woke up to find a huge cardboard box outside my room, wondering what it could be, i ripped the box apart to find the anti static wrist strap, which was a bit odd seeing as they needed a arms length box to fit it in, either way, i got it the next day, even ordering at round about 5ish.
I had never sued one of these before, but its really really easy, works like a charm and fits all wrist sizes, and it can stretch pretty far, and it doesn't get in the way.
worth getting if your doing a lot of pc building or other electrical work that doesn't have another method of grounding yourself.

5.0 out of 5 stars So little cash for so much protection 25 Nov 2007

I admit that I can't provide evidence of static damage to p.c. components, but it DOES seem to be accepted wisdom that this can happen easily and in a big way. Wrap this cheap strap round your wrist, attach the crocodile clip to the p.c. chassis and plug the computer in at the mains (POWER OFF) and you're earthed (and your sensitive cards etc. are safe). Wear it with pride.

4.0 out of 5 stars Gets the job done. 13 May 2010

Good brand named product that gets the job done.

It includes a 1 Megaohm resistor built into the wire clip.

The crocodile clip at the end can be removed so the end can fit into *some* earth sockets.

The only thing that gets on my nerve's is that mine came with a "kink" on the strap that although doesn't affect operation, it does annoy me a bit.

Highly recommended if you plan to work with any circuit boards such as computers.

3.0 out of 5 stars Decent
Good for your peace of mind. However I found that the crocodile clip came lose often, other than that It was quite a snug fit and did what it should.
