Amazon shipped this with a European two pin mains plug. If you travel to Europe, and need a hub, fine, but if purchasing for UK use, this is useless and possibly dangerous if used. My advice: avoid the hassle and get one locally that you know will work on UK sockets, becuase Amazon didn't check that what they were selling met UK trading laws and electrical standards. Maybe other vendors of this product are more responsible - good luck with that. If shipped with a UK plug, I'd have a different opinion - it's powered (obviously) and is tiny. Never tried to use it though, so cannot really comment further.
