If you are going to buy a hub buy this one the only issue I have is that Amazon dont tell you that it comes fitted with a 2 pin plug and I had to go and buy an adapter.

An excellent quality piece of kit. Allows two hubs to be stacked giving 10 fixed ports and 4 temporary.
Would be 5 star but came with a continental rather than a UK power connection. Had to buy a shaver socket (60p from Wilkinsons), and replace the small 1 amp fuse with a similar 3 amp one.

With well spaced USB ports and a soft no fingerprint finish, this is one of the best USB hubs I've ever had the good fortune to own. Simple, elegant and easy to use, what more do you want from a 7-port USB hub?
