This thing just works in the Apple MacBook Pro versions from 2009 that didn't feature their own built-in card reader. It fits flush with the case, and there are no problems with sleep mode as reported with some other cards. Had it a few days, and seems faster when transferring data than via USB too. All good. The packaging is stupidly big for something so small, would have preferred the Amazon frustration free sort!

I was quite skeptical, but the price deserved a trail ... in the worst case i'll drop in the can it and the 10 euros ... BUT, It's run at first time, it perfectly fits in mu MacBook slot and does not rises remainng all contained in the MacBookPro chassis. Perfectly compatible, fast and run at first trial! a must have adapter ... I frogot it in the slot, so it's always with me!

When mac decided to fit an expresscard slot to the 17" macbook pro. They should have figured out which expresscard readers would work with it. Read more

Belkin Express Media Card Reader
