This was bought as a replacement for an old surge protector which was past it's best. This one does enables to organise all the cables quite nicely and the large footprint means it stands nicely on the back of a large shelf under the computer table out of sight. I was a little confused by the lack of cable to connect the surge protector to the BT socket as I can not find the cable required for this job on Amazon to buy either so those sockets for now are sitting empty.
well this is the second belkin of this type that i bought,its a great product and i know that my appliances are surge safe,and so i have my mind at rest,infact i am looking forward in buying the third one,besides being a very good product its price is very reasonable including the shipping cost,and the delivery is really exceptional.

Had the same problem with the on/off rocker switch as others have had. After about 12 months the switch started to arc when turned on (a bit worrying!) and got progressively worse, finally giving up after about 18 months. Tamper proof screws on the base stop you from getting in to fix or bypass the switch!

On/Off Rocker switch broke after about 13 months. The unit cannot be opened to effect a simple repair, so it had to be thrown away. Complete waste of money.
