A longer version of the most commonly used lengths, I occasionally need a longer length.
Since finding issues with less expensive anonymous cable mostly bought at computer fairs, I have for some years standardised on these. Highly reliable and dependable, I have yet to experience a single issue with any.
Available in several different colour and lengths, I always have a few of the more commonly used lengths on hand in the event that I may need to temporarily connect something new to the system. Lately, with the acquisition of some web-enabled media players, they tend not to be sold with Ethernet cables although most others tend to be provided.
I also tend to use Cat6 as a universal cable rather than have Cat5 and Cat6 in use side-by-side.
