I bought this to spilt one incoming TV signal to 2 outputs. So far, so simple right? The coax input cable (from the ariel) has a male output, which is normal and it plugs straight into the female input on this splitter. The standard fly leads to the TV fly leads (outputs) have male plugs. This splitter has 2 male plugs, so it assumes that your fly leads will have female sockets. Why? The logic stands up if this was a gender converter but it is apparently designed to split the signal from one input to two outputs.
So, if (like me) you have standard fly leads with male plugs at either end, you will need to purchase 2 gender converters to use this splitter.
Or not bother and get one that was property designed.
