2010 was classical crossover star, Katherine Jenkins’, biggest yet. From releasing her biggest album to date – the David Foster produced Believe - selling out her first solo UK Arena tour, being a guest judge on ITV1’s hit entertainment show, Popstar To Operastar, to filming her first acting role in the forthcoming Dr Who Christmas Special, 2010 was a vintage year for the award-winning Welsh Mezzo-Soprano.
To mark the success of Believe, Warner Bros Records will release Believe: The Platinum Edition, containing four new tracks and the special bonus DVD, ‘A Year Of Believe.’
In addition to the original Believe repertoire including "The Theme From The Godfather", "Angel" and "Bring Me To Life" comes the breathtaking new track "Tell Me I’m Not Dreaming" (produced by John Shanks), a unique take on the Chris Martin penned epic, "Gravity", also produced by John Shanks, as well as the traditional Christmas recording "In The Bleak Midwinter." As an additional bonus there is a special live recording of her sensational duet with Michael Bolton of "O Holy Night", recorded in Scandinavia last year.
The DVD film documentary includes all her promo videos from the Believe campaign ("Bring Me To Life", "Angel", "Love Never Dies"), two full live tracks from her London O2 show, international TV appearances, video diaries from her Argentina promo tour and much more.

Truely awesome collection of 18 wonderful songs and a sixty minute documentary/music dvd , you can't go wrong with this Katherine always goes the extra mile, the track listing is well put together too it just flows , the voice of course sublime , well worth the money for just angel and gravity alone , most memorable cd i have purchased so far in 2010 .

Fans of gorgeous soprano KATHERINE JENKINS will love this newer CD/DVD
release of "BELIEVE-PLATINUM EDITION".
The CD has 18 fabulous operatic songs[including duets],while the DVD is
about "A Year Of Believe"-60 minutes of exclusive interviews,live concert
footage and behind the scenes. The CD itself includes the single "TELL ME I'M NOT DREAMING"
and three[3] brand new songs.
This CD/DVD is in my opinion a perfect accompaniment to the fantastic DVD
release "BELIEVE LIVE FROM THE 02" an absolutely fabulous concert.
I bought both as christmas presents for a Katherine Jenkins fanatic.

Format:Audio CD
As always with any CD issued from Katherine Jenkins this one is superb, not only for her obviously delightful voice but also for the orchestration and production. Although I had previously bought 'Believe' I thought the purchase of the Platinum Edition might be worth while just for the additional tracks, I was not wrong. For any of Katherine's fans this is a must but for any lover of beautiful music this album would make a great addition to their collection even if they are not naturally operatic fans.

Superb
