This pocket size guide book will provide you with sufficient information to spend a couple of days in Belgrade. It includes a smaller part about Novi Sad and other places nearby. All the information I used was absolutely up to date.
No need to look for a more detailed guide book, unless you want to know more about the historical and political background and are too lazy to check it up on the internet. It gives you all you need and leaves you the freedom to make your own choice and explore on your own. Highly recommended!

Too small to be of any real use -- maps lack detail and, given its size, too much space is given over to scene setting. A couple of the recommended eating places were duds, so didn't bother with it after those attempts. Should also contain a Latin <-> Cyrillic alphabet chart to assist with finding streets.
All in all, I'd make do with a little research on the internet prior to departure and one of the free tourist maps you can pick up from your accommodation.
