This book will be of interest to those with a general interest in the history of Belfast in the 20th century or those who are making a more 'in depth' study. The book is attractively produced and does not concentrate solely on the 'great and the good' - but has some interesting pictures of the 'everyday' events and individuals.
Jonathan Bardon can always be relied upon to provide a scholarly but accessible historical account and this book would be a useful companion to his other works on Belfast.
