Bought it after reading great reviews and first few washes were OK but then I noticed large amounts of dry food splatered over a lot of the items being washed. I read the manual from start to finish and tried everything it stated to improve the wash but there was no change even on the highest, hotest wash. As we run a business the guarantee is void so we have a dishwasher that coats everything in a nasty food residue. If you feel like checking every dish, cup and plate and then washing about 30-40%% of them again in the sink then go ahead and buy this piece of junk.
I bought this dishwasher second hand from my sister. She has used it for two years, and I have now had it for three. It is a fab basic dishwasher. I keep the filters clean, and keep it topped up with salt and rinse-aid, and I have had NO problems with it. I would imagine, if you put a whole load of filthy dishes in any dishwasher, with a lot of food residue, that you may experience the problems listed in the last review. This is not a commercial washer, but suits my family and I very well in a domestic capacity. I do scrape my plates, and rinse cups as I use them, as there are only seven of us, I don't like to leave really dirty dishes lying around. Even on a quick wash, I find the dishes always get clean. Very well priced, very easy to use, I am happy and would reccommend it to anybody.
