I downloaded this book on kindle. Its very easy to read, as the chapters are very short. Its quite funny in some parts and sad in others. It is wrote just how Joey Essex speaks and you can visualise him doing everything he describes. Its a fun book to read and i like the way he throws in random facts throughout the book.

If you should read only one book by Joey Essex in your lifetime, read Being Reem. The book's fractured timeline and experimental prose make it one of the most important examples of the autobiography written in a modernist style, and is indeed evidence of the possible beginning a new movement.
Its 8,732 pages can be subdivided into eighteen chapters, each employing a distinct writing style: stream of consciousness, journalistic, theatrical play format, and hallucinatory, among others. The eighteen chapters are also linked to a colour in an irresistible and unapologetic nod to James Joyce's Ulysses.
Entire careers will no doubt be devoted to the study of this book, so don't worry if you can't understand it. I'm sure if anyone living actually understood Essex's obscure narrative weaving and the minutiae of its structure, they'd be able to see the future and call things into being by mere thought alone. Of all Essex's work, Being Reem most thoroughly encompasses his writing style and perhaps his intriguing mental state.
Being Reem is more than just a book, it's an achievement, but then Essex is more than just a writer, here is a new consciousness and a new voice.
Read it. 10/10.

What can I say? Absolute TRIPE. Waste of money, poorly written, short sentences, two syllable words. He has no real story to tell. Sad to see he has to highlight how stupid he is and his lack of knowledge and mix ups over things. Not sure of this was to amuse, for sympathy or to maintain his fame which is based on his lack of education. Poor teachers, they must have tried. What comes over loud and clear is he is just lazy.
Amazing to be able to make money for talking tripe and writing it too.

A casual, funny, educational (!) read. You learn about Joey Essex and how he probably does come from the background you may have thought, and how he had a tough childhood, and also what 'reem' means and a whole load of other words! The glossary/ dictionary is definitely needed to understand what the book says but it did make me laugh.

A great book for Joey fans. My Sons hate reading, it's like a punishment to them BUT they've both enjoyed reading about Joey's life. Very emotional in parts, he had a tough childhood but has done well. His Mum will be proud!

This book is typical Joey it's fun but serious when it needed to be I was surprised how candidly he spoke of the bad times between him and Sam considering when it went to print they were back together
