"Being Here" is a great and enjoyable read for anybody who is searching for themselves, awareness and enlightenment.

The secret seems to be the simplicity of the Kanes' approach. Their simple and light tales both amused me and moved me to tears. They had a deep impact on my life: In this complex world that we live in these days, Ariel and Shya Kane brought me back to what I have forgotten in the struggle of day to day living: Humanity. Bravo!

There really IS magic in life and I've found it in Ariel and Shya Kane's Being Here: Modern Tales of Enlightenment. The Kanes have written a fun and inspiring book of stories that invite the reader to enter effortlessly into the brilliance of the present moment. These tales, that are at once humorous and touching, are filled with inspiration and enlightenment.

I find myself picking up this gem of a book whenever I want a connection into all that's possible in life. The beautiful thing is, I don't have to "do" anything to experience the richness of the moment. Transformation is a technology that the Kanes have discovered and share generously with all who want to experience the perfection of "now". If you're looking for magic, this is the real thing.

I really enjoyed reading Ariel & Shya Kanes' new book "Being Here"
Modern Day Tales of Enlightenment. The two words that came to mind after reading this book is "Simply Divine". The book is easy to read and like a bottle of wine divine. I really liked the chapter: Buy a Ticket.... In this chapter the Kanes' are having a conversation with their assistant who was upset. She had broken up with her boyfriend and was disappointed in herself that things hadn't worked out. She badly wanted another boyfriend and yet she was NOT dating.

The Kanes' very eloquently tell a story to their assistant about someone who wanted to win the lottery but did not buy a ticket. This was so simple yet very profound. How many times have I wanted something and fretted over not having it, only to see I hadn't bought a ticket!!

Like the Kanes' other book the newly released Working on Yourself Doesn't Work: The 3 Simple Ideas That Will Instantaneously Transform Your Life: I felt totally refreshed after reading this book.

I am continually being surprised! Out of many books that I have read, I find myself going back to a select few because I get a new perspective each time I read them. Ariel and Shya Kane's "Being Here: Modern Day Tales of Enlightenment" is one of these books, and I should say, a truly unique one.

Pearls of wisdom in the stories are woven together in this lovely book. The stories are so sweet, tender and profound. They deeply touched and inspired me. As I went along on the journey of self discovery from one story to another, I found myself smiling, and feeling centered, as if some place deep in my heart expanded; I felt love and compassion for people around me. It wasn't always like this for me in the past. I had the idea that life is hard. I used to believe that I needed to work extra hard to get what I wanted, and someday somewhere I would eventually be happy when I reached my goals. Most of the time I was stressed and always thinking about what I should fix (usually myself and other people). I was very surprised and relieved after reading the Kanes' books to realize that there is another way to approach life- a fun and effortless way to have a magnificent life and truly enjoy what life has to offer when we live the moment (and yes, it's accessible to everyone should we choose).

This book holds a special place in my heart and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to have a brilliant life! Don't forget to check out other books by Ariel and Shya- Working on Yourself Doesn't Work: A Book About Instantaneous Transformation and How To Create a Magical Relationship. You might just be pleasantly surprised!

I absolutely love this book! It took me on a journey and left me
inspired to live the best life I can. Each story conveyed that life is
precious and there are miracles in everyday life if you are there for
them. One significant message I got was that life is what you make of
it...no matter what the circumstances.

I noticed after reading Ariel and Shya Kane's two other books called
"Working on Yourself Doesn't Work " and "How to Create a Magical
Relationship" that life for me got a lot easier, fun and meaningful. I
found that events which would have stressed me before just didn't. Can't
say I focused on getting rid of stressful events in my life, but I
definitely noticed an ease that came into my life. For example, I work
in one of the largest investment banks in New York City and right now
times at the bank are a little challenging due to the uncertainty in the
financial markets. By reading the Kane's books, I've found a solid
center in myself where I feel much more grounded and certain. This
feeling has also had a positive effect on those around me. The
department where I work has stayed "on course" and produced the best
work ever even in these uncertain financial times.

For everyday living at it's best - pick up a copy of "Being Here" or any
one of the Kane's books. Life is short...start living the life you've
been dreaming about and create your own little heaven on earth.
