Obscure but very funny,

This review is from: Beige (Audio CD)
Outside their native Canada and Australia, few have heard of the Arrogant Worms, but they have been turning out high quality musical comedy items for a number of years now. This is their 2006 and to date newest album, which maintains a high level of amusing songs set to different styles of music. Unlike some of their earlier material, the new set tends at times to stray into more toilet humour by subject (eg 'Irritable Bowel Syndrome'), but they maintain a refreshingly non-politically correct approach. At once distinctly Canadian in humour - no American would sing the equivalent to the song 'Canadaman' - and yet tapping into areas of universal satire, such as the brilliant song 'The Guy with the Computer Expertise'. If you liked their earlier work, you'll like this one. They are certainly worth the effort and reward a careful listen to their lyrics.
