I spent ages looking at pedalboards and eventually settled on the Behringer PB1000. A used BOSS BCB60 costs around about the same price as a new PB1000 so from a pricing point of view it was a no brainer. This is a high quality pedalboard and i am delighted with it. I would suggest buying another power supply WHEN YOU BUY THE PEDALBOARD as the power supply that comes with the board hums.If i am being ultra critical I would say that the latches used to close the board look a little flimsy but that's me being ultra critical

Remember that when you go down the pedalboard route YOU WILL NEED MORE SPACE later on as pedals are addictive. They help you achieve the sound you are looking for and as you add more pedals you get closer to "the sound" you want SO LEAVE SOME ROOM IE buy a peadalboard which offers room to grow. I am glad I did this and currently have only 3/4 spaces left. My current set up is as follows:

Esp Ltd H351FR Guitar
PB 1000 Pedalboard
Behringer tuner
Boss NS2
Satchurator
Metal Muff
Big Muff Pi
Zak Wylde Chorus (Black label signature)
Boss DD3 Delay

Soon to follow are a phaser EVH90 and a wah wah pedal to complete the set up.

This board is really BIG, I didn't realise 12 effects pedals took up so much room(I only have 5 ATM). I'm still happy with it.

When held upright my boss pedals fall out. I solved this by putting a rubber band around the base of the pedal, it gives the pedal more grip on the foam insert and I'm able to turn my pedal board ALMOST upside down without any falling out!! You could use double sided sticky foam to keep them in permanently too.
Some pedals need 2 elastic bands. The rubber bands make the pedals look smarter as well, it gives them a nice professional looking seal.

The patch cables buzz, so probably best to buy some new ones. I could hear the buzz get greater when I touched the cable, just like when you touch a live jack.
I'm not using the power cable, since it causes a high pitch whining noise. I'm using a boss PSA 230ES and a Django Daisy chain, although the Behringer daisy chain seems fine, it's hard to tell with the buzz from the patch cable.

I only use half of the board, since I'm not travelling with it, it'll stay in my room. The other half comes off easily. When closed everything seems snug, so dropping it on the floor would not shift anything inside.

It's 5 stars, although some might mark it down to 4 for the bad cables and adaptor. I didn't expect an adaptor or cables, so it was a bonus, a crappy bonus lol. I think they just gave you cables, just in case you don't have any. They're really just to 'make do' with.

A great product. The spacing and organisation of my pedals is ideal.
There are two outputs which enables the use of a stero effect.
The pedals remain obediently in place during transit without having to use adhesives.
It is rubust and well made and looks good.

This has everything you would want in a pedal board, power supply, short cable connectors, neat lid on away you go to the gig.

So why the but? The power supply is one of the cheapest noisiest ones I have ever had the misfortune to use - so bad I binned it after losing my patience with the weird noises it seemed to add I wasnt playing at this point but in a recording studio playing through some very expensive and pristine amplifiers I became more exasperated by the minute.

On trying a new power unit things improved, I still have a weird sound now and then switching pedals in so further investigation is required. The unit is very good especially for the money. The power supply is utter crap and should be looked at by Behringer it lets their brand down BIG style.

I have getting on for 8 of their pedals and have endorsed them at length for no reward, to friends and other musicians alike.
I will use the pedal board PB1000 for as long as I can for it sheer convenience, I was and I suppose still am in half a mind as to if I really like it or not.

To sum up - Brilliant value for money, if you have any weird power supply noises - send it back straight away!!!

having seen a lot og behringer stuff and bought a patchbay I have seen that their items are well made and superior to some other makes. They are good value for money. I wanted a Boss pedal board but they only hold 3 or 6 pedals, and are quite small, so I opted for this one. I really wanted a large pedal board which would accomodate 12 boss pedals, and have the power supply built in etc. I got a surprise when this came. It was the size of a decent suitcase and very well made. It took all my boss pedals no problem, and has a 1.7 amp power supply, with two effects inputs and two amp outputs. It comes with all wiring and connections, but not with velcro, however this is not needed unless you intend to turn the case upside down whilst it is open. I guess sticky pads would suffice if they were of good quality. All in all this is far superior to the boss unit and better value for money. So much so that I am considering buying a second one as a spare or to expand my pedlas as and when I buy them. The only slight complaint is that I couldnt fit the power supply in the case after use, but this is not a problem and is better in case you have new pedals and dont want them scratched anyway. The lid has an inner foam padding to protect the pedals when the case is closed. What can I say. Forget Boss and get more and better for your money, unless you really wish a very small case that will only hold 3 or 6 pedals. This puts Boss to shame and is worth every penny by comparison.
