5.0 out of 5 stars powerful little beastie 1 Oct 2012
Verified Purchase
Although the amp is promoted as essentially a practice amp (which it does very well), I have found it up to the job for amplifying my keyboards (mainly pianos) in rehearsals with big bands and pit bands with which I am involved. This does require pushing up the level close to max, but it pulls it off admirably, without distortion.
The big bonus for me is its diminutive size and weight, which makes transporting and lugging of equipment so much easier.
I have no hesitation in recommending this little beastie to anyone, provided you don't want to fill a stadium or large venue with sound. Of course you can always take a feed to the PA directly by line out or by miking up, so even in this scenario it has its uses.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good value entry level amplifier 20 Oct 2012
Verified Purchase
This item arrived promptly from Amazon in good packaging from the manufacturer. A manual was included and whilst this is very much a budget amp, the finishing all gives confidence with controls that are smooth and feel solid. In use, the sound is good with tone controls that make subtle changes to an even sound rather than do anything radical. As others have said, there is a good level of volume for such a small amp. It is not, however, a piece of pro kit and the cabinet and rear baffle board are made of quite light, thin material so it wouldn't take loads of punishment. Still, for the purpose of domestic use and practice is is a great amp and it doesn't weigh much or take up much room. Behringer really seems to know how to create outstanding value for money and, on the strength of initial impressions, this is well worth the money.

4.0 out of 5 stars Superb value-for-money... 23 Jun 2013

...so long as you don't expect a Roland keyboard amp or hi-fi sound quality.

Plenty good enough (and loud enough) for a classroom / small school hall, and passable as a near-field monitor mix on-stage, just don't try and use it as your back-line ... but, then, you wouldn't; would you?

Superb value-for-money quotient, as always from Behringer. Don't listen to the nay-sayers (a.k.a. gear snobs): Behringer reliability is WAY above average for the sector and more-than-suitable for the average home / amateur musician. Early problems in the company's history were ironed out Aeons ago, including many of the underspecified PSU issues.

Not the best keyboard amp by a long stretch ... but for £60-odd any complaints would simply be puerile.
