4.0 out of 5 stars Good value for money 30 April 2012
Amazon Verified Purchase
Purchased this product to ease the sound source control for a few devices (Akai Synthstation 25, iPhone, iPad and Macbook) and have some digital output for doing some sound/music for multimedia projects. The Behringer 302USB does the job nicely and is impressive for such a relatively low priced product. Supply was efficient and arrived timely. If you have only a few devices then this is a very good solution for a budget desktop recording solution.

5.0 out of 5 stars Superb noiseless mixer 5 Nov 2012
By Paulper

I have been getting a lot of noise through using my laptop and a wireless mic system and a standard analog mini-mixer, however, this little gem of a mixer has done away with that as a result of the USB connector that also frees up a power socket on my DJ setup. Even used at home, the sound is warm, punchy, and I've yet to experience any noise or interference.

One concern I had before purchasing was the length of the USB lead, but this was ample (probably about 1m long). There are plenty of mixing options. My home setup involves using this to voiceover outgoing internet radio. Using OtsAV Pro, you are able to hear the Cue channel through the mixer and then speak through the mic plugged into the mixer which is then fed back into the mic input on the laptop and OtsAV, with the final mix going through the laptop's in built soundcard and then out via Shoutcast to the rest of the world. No feedback, no noise, and, at just £33, no quibble.

This product is an extremely useful device for recording audio in conjunction with a sequencer. I bought it to use with Logic on an iMac and it works fine. Neat, compact and plug and go. I immediately bought two more for my music department!

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Small Format Mixer 12 Jun 2012
By ZCM
I've had this for several months now, and I don't know how I lived without it before.

I have this connected by USB to my computer, and the output to my main amp. My second computer goes in the 2 track input, which is fine as I don't use that one for sound stuff, and I have a record deck, through a phono pre-amp, in the line input. This mixer now means I have a good quality, dampened, rotary fader with adjustable gain and two-band EQ for the audio output of my computers and my turntable, and it sits perfectly right next to my keyboard and doesn't take up too much desk real estate. The build quality is also excellent - sturdy and with a bit if reassuring weight to it. Everything can be controlled from once place and I don't need to alter the output volume on the amp much at all. I also now have a headphone socket on the desk front with separate volume control. These features are invaluable to me as I listen to music a lot and am a part time producer. It's really adaptable and I have used it in many different set ups since I've had it.

It didn't cost a bomb, it really couldn't be simpler to set up, and works like a charm. I have never experienced the noise or interference that other reviewers have mentioned, but this could be partly due to the fact that I don't need the gain to be too high as the amp it is connected to is really quite powerful.

This is a great little mixer, packed with excellent features, at a great price. It even comes with a mains adaptor to use it without a computer.

If you want something small to co-ordinate a few inputs, perhaps by USB, at home or on the move, that's flexible and of high quality, then this is the small format mixer you want.

5.0 out of 5 stars Over-view 26 April 2013

I have had this item for a few months now or more. It has been very useful and works perfectly well for my speaker setup. I use a bose sound system in the one output and the mixers high and low balances are very useful especially the line in and mix volumes as I use this for a pa system also and from such a small mixer it works perfectly no problems at all. I would say the only annoying thing is it has one output but you can use the headphone jack as one also which I have done once or twice. However for this price you can't go wrong really. Overall A great buy and you wont get much better without a lot more £££

Well does exactly what any of the other more expensive input devices do.. no latency and 2 EQs, I use this every day in my little home studio and its never failed me. A very good cheap alternative to some of the over priced sound input devices.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good straight forward analogue mixer 2 Mar 2013

In my home recording studio, I needed to monitor the output sound of existing tracks (foldback) whilst recording microphone audio. The mixer gives the choice of only recording the microphone sound or the microphone sound and the monitor sound. The mic amplifier is powerful should your mic require it and other inputs are provided as well as the microphone socket.
The USB power supply and integrated audio in/out in the same USB cable makes connection to a computer very tidy. Another real bonus is the ASIO audio driver. Virtually zero delay between monitor sound and recorded image.

5.0 out of 5 stars Top Notch Little Mixer 6 Jan 2013
Amazon Verified Purchase
I bought this mixer to record cassette tapes and records on to my PC so my review is essentially to do with just that. The mixer's power supply comes via USB from the PC or you can use the USB adapter also supplied to use power from the mains socket. Well before I go on any further, this mixer works brilliantly. I connected my record turntable [Bush MTT1...it has a built in pre-amp... very necessary] to the phono inputs on the mixer marked "2-TRACK" and then connected the "MAIN MIX" phono outs to the line-in on the PC. I use Magix Audio Cleaning Lab software on the PC. The recordings are top quality.Recordings via the "LINE" input are also excellent... you can use the EQ if needed to good effect plus the Pan facility. I prefer the "2-TRACK" input as it bypasses the EQ.

I have not used the Mic In with a phantom powered mic but can confirm that it is excellent with a dynamic mic... I use the Shure PG57.The XLR input also doubles as a 1/4" jack input too! The recordings are clean and clear and their is a very good low and high EQ with panning on this input. You have total control of volumes from all inputs which is basically what a mixer is all about. You can route your mix via head phones or the main mix. This unit is very well made and has a solid feel to it especially the XLR and phono inputs. The mixer has many uses and I can totally recommend it... it also takes up hardly any space on your already crowded desktop! As a footnote there is no way that I am parting company with my cassette or vinyl collection... it's simply fun to be able to copy them if needed for whatever purpose.
