'Behind these hazel eyes' is by far one of the best songs of the 21st century, and something the british public badly needs. This century has entered a stage of mediocrity and boredom on the music front, but Kelly Clarkson is what is needed to revamp this problem. Following the great single 'Since U Been Gone' this song has rock chick written all over it. The notes Kelly can hit are truely spinechilling and her pitch complexicity is one to be admired. The video is another special one from Kelly, being in my top 2 ever beside Since U Been Gone. This is a song many can relate to, having someone play you about but not letting them see your true pain because you don't want them to think you need them. All in all a fantastic release, worthy of a number 1 in the U.K.! Wake up Britain and see you have an amazing singer here for you! 10/10! I love Kelly 4ever!!!!!

Since I heard Miss Independent all those years back, I have fallen in love with Kelly. She was an absolutely amazing gift to sing, and she can really hit those notes. Taken from the album "Breakaway", Kelly has travelled down a different musical path since the day's of "Thankful". The transition between the two genres of music works effortlessly, much like the jump between Christine Aguilera's debut to her magnificent "Stripped". I think "Breakaway" is the sort of material Kelly would have released as her debut, if the record label had let her. "Behind These Hazel Eyes" is without a doubt my preferred song from Breakaway. Co-written by Kelly, she delivers emotion and sings form the heart. It's hard to describe the song: I would say that it's an slow kind of rock song. You can't really say that it's slow, but it isn't fast. There are some mean electric guitars and a drum beat guaranteed to raise your heart beat. Highly lyrical and some truly spine-chilling notes, this has to be Kelly's finest song to this date!
